2. Information We Do NOT Collect

• Track or monitor your continuous, precise GPS location.

3. Local Device Data & Game Progress

Your sector progress, high scores, and game settings are saved locally on your device storage. This gameplay data remains on your device and is not transmitted to external game servers.

You can delete all locally saved game progression data at any time by clearing the application cache/storage in your Android device settings or by uninstalling the application.

4. Third-Party Analytics, Attribution & Push Notifications

To maintain game performance, evaluate marketing efficiency, protect against fraudulent installs, and deliver timely game updates, Desert Expedition incorporates trusted third-party software development kits (SDKs). These third-party services operate under their own independent privacy policies:

A. AppsFlyer (Mobile Measurement Partner & Ad Performance)

We use AppsFlyer as our Mobile Measurement Partner (MMP) to monitor advertising performance, attribute install sources, and prevent ad fraud.

• Unique Install Identifiers: AppsFlyer generates a unique pseudonymous installation ID (AppsFlyer ID) and may read your device's Google Advertising ID (GAID / AAID) to identify distinct installations and verify campaign attribution.
• IP Address & Approximate Location: AppsFlyer receives your IP address during network requests to estimate coarse geographic location (such as country or city level) and detect fraudulent or bot-driven traffic.
• Technical & Event Metadata: Device model, operating system version, and campaign interaction events (e.g. app launch or sector completion).

• Opt-Out Choice: You can reset or delete your Google Advertising ID at any time via Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Reset advertising ID / Delete advertising ID, or visit AppsFlyer Opt-Out.

B. OneSignal (Push Notifications & Player Updates)

We use OneSignal to deliver optional push notifications regarding expedition updates, new sector releases, and important game alerts.

• Unique Install / Player ID: OneSignal assigns a unique subscription identifier to your device installation to accurately route and deliver push notifications.
• IP Address & Approximate Location: OneSignal receives device IP addresses to infer coarse, country/region-level location for localized notification delivery and timezone scheduling.
• Push Tokens & Interaction Telemetry: Device push registration tokens and anonymous statistics on whether a notification was delivered or opened.

C. Google Play Services

5. Managing & Disabling Push Notifications

Push notifications are entirely optional. If you do not wish to receive notifications from Desert Expedition, you can easily disable them at any time directly through your Android operating system settings:

Unique installation identifiers and approximate IP geolocation data are utilized strictly for legitimate security purposes—including detecting invalid clicks, preventing automated bot installs, and safeguarding the integrity of our advertising campaigns.

7. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

Desert Expedition is designed for general audiences and complies with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) and applicable global child privacy regulations. We do not knowingly collect, request, or store personal identifying information from children under the age of 13 (or under 16 in the European Union).
